Privacy Policy
Effective November 6, 2026 · Version 2026-11-06
This Privacy Policy explains how LT Services, Inc. ("JQC", "we",
"us") collects, uses and shares personal information in connection with
Janitorial QC — the web application, the iPad app, our website and related services (the
"Service"). It should be read together with our
Terms of Service.

1. Who is responsible for your information
JQC is used by businesses — typically cleaning and facility-services companies — that each
have their own workspace (our "Customers"). Two different situations apply:
- Information inside a workspace ("Customer Data") — for example
facilities, inspections, photos, issues, comments, and the accounts of a Customer's staff
and clients — is controlled by that Customer. We process it on the Customer's behalf and on
its instructions, as described in our Terms of Service. If you use JQC because your
employer or a service provider invited you, that organization decides what information is
entered and how it is used; please direct questions or requests about it to them.
- Information we collect for our own purposes — such as details of the person
who signs up for a workspace, billing contacts, visitors to our website, support requests,
and security and usage records — is controlled by us, and this policy describes how we
handle it.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Sign-up and account details: company name, your name, email address, username
and password, the workspace address you choose, and your plan. Passwords are stored only in
hashed form.
- Two-factor authentication: if you turn on two-factor sign-in, the secret that
links your authenticator app, and one-time recovery codes, which are stored only in hashed
form.
- Workspace content: what you and your colleagues enter into the Service —
contracts, facilities and their addresses and contact people, areas, inspection forms and
results, signatures captured in forms, photos (which may show people or premises),
issues, comments, work orders, scheduled reports and their recipients, and the accounts of
users you invite.
- Billing: billing name and email, and your subscription history. Payment card
details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not receive or
store full card numbers.
- Support: the content of support tickets and of conversations with the support
chat assistant, which are saved so you can return to them.
- Contact form: if you write to us through the Contact Us form on our website,
your name, email address, company (if you give it), the topic and your message, together with
the IP address it was sent from. We use them to reply to you and to block abuse of the form. We
keep our replies and our internal notes about your message with it. If your message is not in
English, its text and our reply may be sent to our AI model provider to translate them; email
addresses and phone numbers are removed from what is sent where we can detect them. Our replies
include a private link that works for one reply, for up to 15 days; what you send through it is added to your
message, together with the IP address it was sent from.
- Public forms: people who are not users can submit information through links
that a Customer shares — a building occupant reporting a problem through a facility QR
code (a description, a severity and, if they choose, their name and contact details), a
contractor updating a work order, or a prospective customer completing an enrollment form.
This information is added to that Customer's workspace.
Information collected automatically
- Location: when an inspection is submitted, the web app or iPad app may record
the device's location at that moment, if the device and browser allow it. It is stored with
the inspection so the Customer can confirm where it was performed.
- iPad app details: a device identifier, device name, app version, iOS version,
the time the app was last used, and a push-notification token.
- Log and security data: IP addresses, request times, pages and actions
requested, and sign-in successes and failures. The Service also keeps an audit log of
actions taken in each workspace (for example creating, changing or deleting records),
including the user, time and IP address.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate and maintain the Service, including sending the notifications and
emails that users and Customers configure (for example issue alerts, digests and
scheduled reports);
- create and manage workspaces and accounts, authenticate users and enforce plan limits;
- process payments and manage subscriptions, trials and renewals;
- respond to support requests and provide the support chat assistant;
- keep the Service secure — for example detecting and blocking repeated failed sign-ins,
investigating suspicious activity and preventing abuse;
- understand how the Service is used and improve it, using aggregated or de-identified
information that does not identify any person;
- send service and account messages, such as security notices, billing notices and
changes to our terms; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information, use Customer Data for advertising, or share it
with third parties for their own marketing.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as follows:
- Within a workspace: information is visible to other users of the same workspace
according to their role and the access the Customer grants them. Customers can let their
own clients see selected facilities, inspections and issues.
- Service providers that process information on our behalf, under contracts that
limit their use of it:
| Provider type | Purpose |
| Cloud hosting and file storage | Running the Service and storing workspace data and photos |
| Email delivery | Sending notifications, invitations and account emails |
| Stripe | Payment processing and subscription billing |
| Google Maps | Finding a facility's map location from its address when staff ask for it, and showing facility and inspection locations on embedded maps (your browser loads these maps from Google) |
| AI model provider | Generating answers in the support chat assistant (the messages you type in the chat are sent to it), and translating contact form messages and our replies when our staff ask for it |
- Support access: our authorized staff may access a workspace through a dedicated
support account to provide support, troubleshoot or protect the Service. This access is
recorded in our audit log.
- Legal reasons: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law
or legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of our Customers,
users, the public or us.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or
part of our business, subject to this policy.
- With consent: in any other case, only with the consent of the Customer or the
person concerned.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Service uses only cookies and browser storage that it needs to work: a session cookie to
keep you signed in, a security token that protects forms against cross-site requests, an
optional "remember me" cookie, and browser storage for small conveniences such as the
filters you last used on a list. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party
analytics or tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, but you
will then need to sign in again.
6. How long we keep information
- Workspace data is kept while the workspace exists. A Customer's administrators
can delete records, deactivate users and remove files at any time.
- When a workspace is deleted, we delete its database and files. Copies may remain
in our backups for a limited period until they are overwritten in the normal course, and we
may keep a final backup for a limited period for recovery purposes only.
- Contact form messages, with our replies and notes, are kept while we deal with them and for as long as they
remain useful for following up; you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
- Account, billing and legal records — such as records of sign-ups, acceptance of
our Terms, subscriptions and invoices — are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax,
dispute and legal purposes, even after a workspace is deleted. This includes the email address
used to create each workspace, which we use to limit repeat sign-ups and free trials.
- Logs and security records are kept for as long as they are useful for security,
troubleshooting and audit purposes. Expired sign-in tokens are deleted automatically.
7. How we protect information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal
information, including a separate database for each workspace, encryption of data in transit,
hashed passwords, encrypted storage of internal database credentials, role-based access,
optional two-factor sign-in, protection against repeated failed sign-ins, and audit logging.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute
security. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will
notify the affected Customer — and, where required by law, affected individuals — without
undue delay.
8. Your choices and rights
- Your account: you can update your name, email and password, and turn two-factor
sign-in on or off, from your profile. You can choose which notifications you receive by
email in your notification preferences.
- Information in a workspace: to access, correct, export or delete information
held in a workspace, contact the organization that runs it — it controls that information.
We will help Customers respond to such requests.
- Information we control: depending on where you live, you may have the right to
request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to object to or
restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email
legal@jqc.app. We will verify your request and respond
within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for
exercising these rights.
- Location and push notifications can be turned off at any time in your device or
browser settings.
9. Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the
United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards
for information transferred across borders.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. Users must be at least
18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a
child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify
workspace administrators by email or in the Service before it takes effect. The version and
effective date at the top of this page show when it was last changed.
